澳門友人將帶企業家二代 百餘人來台考察博弈產業

從2007年博弈論壇舉辦過後,我們沒有隨著許多博弈新聞的炒作而起舞,但一直靜靜地觀察著總統大選後的局勢,及其對於博弈市場的影響,無非是希望能夠提供給想從事博弈產業工作的朋友一系列實在的、有效的、高品質的博弈人才培訓課程。

因此我從去年起,陸續走訪了幾趟澳門、新加坡,考察了當地具有特色與規模的博弈人才培訓機構,也因此認識了幾家博弈培訓機構的年輕老闆,對於未來可能的合作機會,正在進行密切的評估,希望各位朋友能耐心等待。

九月中旬,就將有澳門朋友要帶百餘位港澳企業家二代來台考察,我也將會參加該參訪團的活動和聚會。他們除了考察博弈產業之外,也包含房地產、精品..等各項產業的投資機會,我想到時候媒體新聞可能又會炒得沸沸揚揚了吧 ?

TIMES 2007 年度最佳發明

美國 TIMES 時代雜誌每年都會選出當年度的最佳發明產品,你知道 2007 年的第一名得主是誰嗎 ? 答案是 APPLE iPhone 眾望所歸,得到了第一名。

除此之外,我在 TIMES 的網站上也看到了很多很有趣的發明,包括有可以顯示情緒的衣服、可以隨意捲曲摺疊的軟性電子螢幕、智慧型耕田機器人、瀑布螢幕...等,很多都已經商品化,所以也不用太羨慕,因為可能不久後你也可以買得到囉。

其中,我覺得 MIT Media Lab 發明的這款 City Car 特別酷,只有 1.5 公尺,兩人座,可摺疊停放,而且不用油,只要充電就可以上路了,說不定不久之後我們就會常常在台北市看到像這樣的 CityCar 電動車停車奇景....

太陽能電動自行車 ?

不論是為了省油錢、健身、還是為了趕上流行時尚,現在全台灣最流行的假日休閒運動大概就是全家人一起去騎腳踏車了。

前幾天,我們全家人也在烈日下沿著河濱公園騎到了士林科博館,雖然不是很長的路程,騎的車子也不是麼名牌車,即使塗了防曬油,後來幾天我的皮膚還是因此曬黑不少。雖然一路顛簸,汗水淋漓,但這趟全家自行車之遊,還真是充滿了樂趣,也讓我領略到了為什麼現在台灣有這麼多人這麼喜歡騎自行車了。

當然,沿途頂著烈日流著大汗,我總是免不了有職業病,腦袋不停地想發明看看有沒有更輕鬆的方式騎車,而且還自以為聰明的想去申請個 "太陽能電動自行車" 的專利而竊竊自喜。

不過回家一查,相關的發明原來已經不少啦,而且還有一位天才老兄,乾脆直接把太陽能電池穿在身上當作電動自行車的電源,也可算是一絕啦 ! 有興趣的朋友,可以上 USPTO 美國專利資料庫查一查 "Solar" + "Bike",你會發現 67 項相關專利,其中有幾個很有趣的發明,有興趣的朋友趕快去研究研究吧.....

Fortune 世界 500 強企業排行榜

前陣子到重慶,感受到中國大陸政府對於國際化招商引資的積極,而且目標都是Fortune500大企業的規模,在中國叫做「世界500強企業」。

Fortune 雜誌從1955年開始,每年都會選出 500 家企業的排行榜,歷史悠久,進榜的可都是全世界當時最巔峰的企業。不過從 Fortune 500 大的資料庫盤算起來,1970-80年有 32% 的企業被淘汰、1980-90年有47%的公司消失、1990-98年超過54%的公司灰飛煙滅.... 依此速率看來,2000年到2010年可能會有超過 60%的500大企業會被驅逐在此排行榜外,大企業的競爭壓力之大,由此可見一斑。

我不知道有多少家世界500強企業會到重慶投資,不過從中國大陸開發大西部的政策看來,選擇重慶作為聚焦的城市,是個聰明的決策,交通便利、氣候舒適、工資低廉、教育素質不錯...等,都是有利的投資條件。Anyway, 有興趣研究世界500強企業發展動態的朋友,不妨到 Fortune 500 的網站上研究研究,肯定會很有收穫的.....
